Snooker King
Snooker King Troubleshooting and FAQ
This troubleshooting guide for Snooker King collects the quick checks that solve most day-to-day problems at the counter of a snooker or billiard centre: table lights that do not respond, tickets that do not print, missing buttons, table prices that look wrong, discounts that do not apply, bookings and sign-in. It also lists the keyboard shortcuts that speed up a busy shift. It is used by operators, managers and owners before they contact VYROX support.
First Checks
- Check that the internet connection works by opening another website.
- Reload the page with Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac).
- Make sure you are working in the right centre.
- Sign out and sign in again.
Common Problems
The Table Light Did Not Turn On
- In Settings > Tables, check that the table has a Lighting Device and Lighting Channel.
- In Settings > Lighting Control, check that Lighting System is Enabled and the device shows ACTIVE, not INACTIVE.
- Press Query Device Status on the device. If the controller does not answer, check its power and network cable.
- The game is still timed and billed while you fix the light.
A Receipt or Kitchen Ticket Did Not Print
- Open Settings > Printers and check the printer connector status on the counter computer.
- Check the printer is on, has paper and is on the same network.
- Check the Printer chosen for the item category.
- Try again with Reprint Order or by printing the invoice again. See Printers and the Print Queue.
A Button Is Missing
Buttons appear by role and permission. For example Light On needs the Turn table lighting on permission, and Delete Slip needs Delete invoices & slips. Ask your manager to check your employee permissions. Count Up or Count Down is hidden if the table does not offer that game mode.
The Table Price Looks Wrong
- Open Settings > Count Up Games and check the Rate Settings cover the current day and time.
- Check for a Specific Date or Holidays rate that applies today.
- When more than one rate covers the same time, the most specific rate type wins: Specific Date first, then holidays, then a named weekday, then All Weekdays or All Weekends, then the defaults. A table's own rate beats a table type or centre rate of the same kind. Only when both are equal does the higher rate win.
- Press View Proforma on the table to see the breakdown before checkout.
A Discount Was Not Applied
Check that the member is attached to the bill, their plan has an active discount under Settings > Member Discounts, any minimum spend is met, and the right option is chosen under Discount to apply. Countdown packages marked Exclude from member discounts never receive the membership discount.
A Player Shows UNPAID
In a multi-player game, a player whose session has ended but whose bill has not been taken shows UNPAID. Open the table and take that player's payment, or put it on Pay Later so it moves to Receivables.
A Booking Still Shows Confirmed After a No-Show
Snooker King marks a Confirmed booking as No Show automatically once its end time has passed. The check runs while the Operations page is open and whenever the bookings list loads, so keep the Operations page open during business hours. To mark a guest early, open the booking in Bookings and press No-Show. See Table Bookings.
The Live Monitor Is Blank
Reload the browser on the TV and turn off sleep mode on the TV player. If the address stopped working, someone may have pressed Reset URL. Copy the new address from Settings > Tables.
I Cannot Sign In
After five wrong attempts within five minutes, sign-in is paused for a few minutes to protect your account. Wait, then try again or reset your password.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Snooker King Work Without Internet?
No. It is a cloud system, so billing and payment need a connection. Keep a mobile hotspot as a backup for the counter.
Can I Manage Several Branches?
Yes. One client account can hold several organisations and centres, and pages filter by centre. Owners can also compare centres in the Weekly Management Report.
How Do I Get Help?
Use Bug Reports in your user menu so the team receives your screenshots and details. See Dashboard, Owner App and Support.
Why Can I Not Cancel an e-Invoice?
Only validated e-invoices can be cancelled, and only within 72 hours of validation. See SST, Service Charge and LHDN e-Invoice.
Where Can I Read the Older Articles?
Snooker King, Set Up Table Price, Create Table and Settings Table Rate are still available, but this manual is the current reference.
