Reading the Analysis Page
The Analysis page in GuluStock shows the results of the latest market scan of Bursa Malaysia stocks, sorted into tabs by verdict: Trend, Watch, Buy, Sell and Hold. It is the main page for every GuluStock user and the place to see how the system currently classifies each counter, why, and at which price levels.
Before You Start
Your account must include the Analysis page (new client accounts do by default). Select Analysis in the left sidebar.
How a Scan Works
GuluStock scans the liquid universe automatically twice each trading day: before the open, and again ahead of the 14:30 afternoon reopen. Each scan reads the market regime from the FBM KLCI and classifies each stock. A verdict of Buy can only come from a strategy that passed GuluStock's validation (walk-forward testing, cross-validation across many splits and a locked recent holdout, all after trading costs). The 0 to 100 setup score cannot create a Buy on its own.
The Tabs
The number beside each tab is its count for the current scan.

| Sell | Shows n/a instead of a number | The classifier has no Sell verdict. It shows n/a rather than 0, because 0 would wrongly suggest it checked and found nothing to sell. Exits belong to each paper position's stop, target, trailing stop and time stop. |
| Hold | Stocks scored roughly 30 to 59, below the Watch bar of 60 | Levels for context only. "Hold" describes the rank; it does not mean you own the stock. |
Switch Between Table and Chart View
- On the Analysis page, find the view buttons in the toolbar.
- Press Data Table (the default) for sortable tables, or Chart for a grid of mini candlestick cards, one per stock.
- The chart grid shows exactly the rows the table is showing, so the tab, the Watch chip and any filter you picked carry through. Each card has a small TradingView icon that opens the counter on TradingView.
Sort and Choose Columns
- Click any column header to sort by that column. Click again to reverse.
- Press Columns to choose which columns appear and in what order.
- Tick or untick columns and set the order. One layout applies to every Analysis table (Top Picks, the watchlist, Buy, Sell, Hold and Rising Stars), and it is saved in your browser.
- A few columns belong to one table only, so they stay on that table whatever you set: Merit is on the watchlist only, and Entry Recorded and Status are on Buy only.

Common Columns
Not every table carries every column. Hover a header to read its full explanation in the app.

| # | Row number in the list, in the server's order. It does not renumber when you filter. |
| Added To Watchlist | When the stock entered the watchlist for its current stint (the add, or the re-add after a drop), in Malaysia time. |
| Run | The scan the row belongs to. On the Watch tab it is the last scan that quoted the stock. |
| Trend | 60-day daily close sparkline. Click it to open the full chart. |
| Stock | Stock code, with the listing board (MAIN, ACE or LEAP) and the Bursa sub-sector beside it. |
| Name | Company name. It opens the counter on TradingView. |
| Setup | The setup pattern the scorer matched. |
| Score | Today's rank, not a probability: the percentile of the stock's setup score among everything scanned in this run, scaled by the market regime. 90 means it ranked in the top 10% of today's scan. |
| Δ% Since Added | How the price has moved since the stock went on the watchlist. It is not a profit or loss. |
| Last Price | The live last-trade price, refreshed every 10 seconds while Bursa is open. A dash means the stock is outside the set of names being polled, not that it did not trade. |
| ATR 1h | The 14-period average true range on the one-hour frame, when the scan ran. |
| Entry | The entry trigger. On a Buy it is the level the validated strategy fired at; on Watch and Hold rows it is indicative only. |
| To Go | How far the price must still travel to reach the trigger. |
| SL, TP | The stop-loss and take-profit levels. |
| R:R | Reward-to-risk ratio of those levels. |
| Stage | Market-cycle stage: 1 basing, 2 advancing, 3 topping, 4 declining. |
| Merit | Watchlist grade A, B or C (watchlist rows only). |
| Entry Recorded, Status | When a Buy signal became a paper order, and what happened to it (Buy rows only). |
| Strategy | The validated strategy that fired (Buy rows only). |
| Justification | The scorer's own sentence for the verdict, with the ranking drivers where the table ranks its rows. |
The Scan Briefing
Press Scan Briefing on the Analysis page to open notes about the current scan. The dialog has six tabs:

The button also shows the scan's watchlist census. A small dot on its icon means there are notes for this scan, and the dialog then opens on Today; otherwise it opens on Watchlist. The dot is blue for information, amber for a warning and red for an alert. An alert also tints the whole button, because it may change how you should read the numbers. Hover the button to see the notes listed. Close the dialog with the X at the top right.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why Does the Buy Tab Show Zero?
No validated strategy triggered in this scan, or the market regime did not qualify. It is a normal result, not an error.
Why Does Buy Plus Hold Plus Sell Not Equal Trend?
Trend counts every classified stock, including those marked Skip. The other tabs show only verdicts worth reading.
Are the Entry, Stop and Target on Hold Rows Tested?
No. Those levels come from the scorer, which has no backtested edge. Only Buy rows carry a tested strategy.
Is a Verdict a Recommendation?
No. It is research output for education. Every trading decision is yours.
