Asphalt Plant
The Asphalt Plant screen in VYROX Quarry (AIKuari) tracks burner fuel per tonne, checks mix discharge temperature against its window, and watches baghouse pressure drop. A drying energy card shows what cold-feed moisture costs in fuel and CO2, and recommendation cards explain what to change. Asphalt plant managers and operators use it every production day.

Drying Energy
The Drying Energy · Models Page Factors card shows three tiles: Drying Energy (kWh per tonne), Burner Fuel (litres per tonne) and CO₂ (kg per tonne).
In the demo, the Cold-Feed Moisture slider lets you see how moisture changes these figures. The demo model uses these sample factors:
- Drying energy rises 6.86 kWh per tonne for each extra 1 % of moisture (75 kWh/t at 3 %).
- Fuel at 9.94 kWh per litre, and CO₂ at 2.68 kg per litre.
Recommended Actions
The Recommended Actions card suggests fixes with the reason for each, for example:
- Draw from the Covered Pile when the open pile is wet and a drier pile exists.
- Lower the Discharge Setpoint when the mix leaves hotter than the haul needs.
Once both are applied, the card shows Both Fixes Applied.
Ask AI
Ask "Which plant used the most fuel per tonne today?" or "Why did fuel per tonne rise at Plant A1 today?". The answer shows the drivers, such as cold-feed moisture and mix temperature, and how they were worked out.
