Snooker King

Dashboard, Owner App and Support

Updated · 569 words · 3 min read

The Dashboard in Snooker King is the communication page of a snooker or billiard centre: it shows announcements addressed to you and lets authorised users publish new ones. Alongside it, the Messenger lets staff chat inside the centre, the owner's client app puts every module into a phone-friendly Apps grid, and the built-in bug report and feature request forms send issues straight to the VYROX team. It is used by owners, managers and all staff.

The Dashboard

  • Announcements for You lists announcements targeted at you. Press Read more to expand one, and press Acknowledge (or the custom acknowledgment text) when the announcement asks you to confirm. It then shows Acknowledged.
  • Users who manage announcements also see a table with Created, Announcement Title, Organization, Visibility, Publish Date, Publish Until, Status and Action.

Publishing an Announcement

  1. On the Dashboard, press Create New Announcement.
  2. Enter the Title and Content, and choose the Target Audience.
  3. Set the Status (Draft, Published or Archived), Publish Date and Expiry Date.
  4. Tick Pin This Announcement to keep it at the top, and Require Acknowledgment (with Acknowledgment Text) when staff must confirm they have read it.
  5. Under Announcement Reach, move organisations from Available Organizations to Selected Organizations.
  6. Press Confirm Create. The Activity view shows who has read and acknowledged it.

Messenger

The Messenger lets staff talk inside the centre. It lists conversations in sections such as Pinned and Announcements. Choose a conversation to start messaging, and press Close to return to your work.

The Owner's Client App

Owners can run the business from a phone-friendly client app. Its bottom bar has five tabs: Dashboard, Apps, Operations, Revenues and Me. The Apps grid groups the modules:

Some tiles appear only when you use that module or have the matching permission, for example F&B Ordering and Cash Drawer.

Reporting a Bug

  1. Open Bug Reports from your user menu (or Report an Issue in the owner app) and press Report a Bug.
  2. Describe what happened, what you expected and the steps to repeat it. Mention the table, invoice or member involved.
  3. Add images under Attach Screenshots. You can mark them up with Pen, Arrow, Box, Circle, Text and Crop, then press Save Drawing.
  4. Press Submit Bug Report, or Save as Draft to finish later.
  5. Follow progress in the list. If the team asks a question, reply in the thread. If a fix did not work, reply with Reopen and Send.
