Internal Mails
The Internal Mails module is intended to give a management office a permanent, searchable record of official correspondence sent to individual customer accounts, the kind of letter that later has to be produced as proof of service: reminders, warnings, statements and formal notices addressed to one owner rather than to the whole building. It is aimed at property managers and management offices that currently send such letters by email or by hand and keep no central copy. Please read the feature list below carefully: Internal Mails is an early-stage module. Module licensing, the menu entries and the message list controls are in place, but composing, sending and delivery tracking are still in development. For property-wide notices that work today, use the Announcements module.

Official correspondence is a two-copy business, one for the resident and one for the file
Change the type or the recipient and both copies retypeset together, because they are one record held against one customer account, with the attachment kept beside it. The office copy is the one that has to answer the question a resident asks six months later: was I actually told, and when.

Internal Mails features
Everything included, in one place.
- Internal Mails is a licensed module that can be switched on or off per property from the module settings
- When enabled, an Internal Mails entry appears in the resident app feature grid and an Internal Mails page appears in the management console
- The message list carries a search box and a records-per-page selector for working through correspondence
- The module is planned as a register of official correspondence between the management office and customer accounts, with document attachments held against each message
- Designating a primary contact on a customer account, so official correspondence reaches a named person, is handled in the Customer Accounts module
