Defect Reports
The Defect Reports module is intended for property developers, joint management bodies and management offices handling defect rectification during a development's defect liability period, where each reported defect has to be traced to a responsible party, whether that is the developer, an appointed vendor, a contractor under warranty or the owner. Please read the feature list below carefully: Defect Reports is an early-stage module. Module licensing and the management console menu entry are in place, but the defect register screens are still in development and there is no resident app tile yet. For a fault reporting workflow that is fully built today, look at the Complaints and Incident Reports modules.

Pinning a defect to the unit plan is how the punch list would write itself
Pick a trade, then click the room where the defect is. The pin carries the unit, the location inside the unit, the trade and the photo evidence, and the responsible party is decided by which liability window the defect falls in, so the developer, the contractor under warranty and the owner never argue about whose bill it is.

- Defect Reports is a licensed module that can be switched on or off per property from the module settings
- When enabled, a Defect Reports entry with an outstanding-count indicator appears in the management console menu
- The defect register is planned around the affected unit, the location within the unit, the trade category and photo evidence
- Developer defect liability period tracking, contractor warranty tracking and joint inspection sign-off are part of the planned design
- Please note: Defect Reports is currently an early-stage module. The menu entry and module licensing are in place, but the defect register screens are still in development and there is no resident app tile yet
