xSERVA Face, Card and Lift Access Setup

Physical access control in VYROX xSERVA (HomeServa, PropServa, SmartServa and SportServa) lets management connect VYROX AIoT door, lift and face recognition devices to the portal, define which doors and lift floors each type of pass may open, and then issue card or face access to residents, tenants and members. It is used by property managers, building management offices, club administrators and security teams who want one place to grant, suspend and audit physical access across a campus.

Before You Start

Sign in to the management portal at the portal address your operator gives you, using a management staff account.
You need the Settings privilege to manage devices and access types, and the Card Access or Face Recognition Access privilege to issue passes.
Each module (Card Access, Face Recognition Access, Vehicle Plate Recognition Access, Integrated Smart Access) only appears if it is enabled for your property. Ask your operator if a menu is missing.

How the Pieces Fit Together

Set them up in this order: devices first, then access types, then passes.

Manage AIoT Devices

Go to Settings > AIoT Devices. The page title reads VYROX AIoT Devices and has one tab per device family:

Other tabs may appear depending on your installation.

Add or Edit a Device

Open the correct tab, for example SuperPASS-Door.
Press New SuperPASS-Door Device (or New SuperPASS-Lift Device, New UltraPASS-Face Device).
Enter a clear controller name that staff will recognise, such as "Block A Lobby Door".
Complete the connection fields your installer gives you (Cloud Server or Local Server details).
For a face terminal, set Access Direction to In, Out or Lift.
Press Add. To change a device later, press Edit on its row, then Update.

The list shows No., Created, Status, Serial No., Label and Sync Date. Use Search to find a device, and the Deleted filter to see removed devices.

Create Access Types

An access type is the template behind every pass. Go to Settings > Physical Access Control. Tabs appear for each enabled module: Card Access, Face Recognition Access, Vehicle Plate Recognition Access and Integrated Smart Access.

Choose the tab, for example Face Recognition Access.
Press New Face Recognition Access Type (the Card Access tab shows New Card Access Type).
Fill in the name, Description, Deposit and Charge, and choose the charge frequency.
Choose a Type and, if needed, Link to Parking.
Under each device heading, tick the checkbox for every door, lift or terminal this type may open.
Press Add.

Lift Floor Access

Lift access is granted in the SuperPASS-Lift Access Control box of each access type. Tick the individual levels, or tick Including the floor(s) where the property of the user is located. With that option, each person automatically receives their own home floor, based on the floors set on the respective property page, so you do not need a separate type per floor.

Issue Access Cards

Open Card Access from the main menu. The list shows Valid From, Application No., Property No., Full Legal Name, Card Type, Expiry Datetime, Associated Vehicle Plate No., Deposit, Charge and Status.

Press New Card Access.
Use Select Account to pick the customer account, or enter the person's Name, IC/Passport No., Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile Phone No. and Email Address.
Set Relationship to Family, Tenant or Others.
Choose the Card Access Type.
Enter Physical Card Number 1 and, if issued, Physical Card Number 2.
Add a Remark, Supporting Documents and a Profile Picture if required.
Press Add.

Enrol a Face

Open Face Recognition Access from the main menu, then press New Face Recognition Access.

Select the customer account or enter the person's details, as for cards.
Choose the Face Recognition Access Type.
Optionally link it with An available reserved parking lot and enter the Associated Vehicle Plate No..
Under Images for Face Recognition Access, upload a clear Face Photo.
Press Add.

Use a recent, front-facing, well-lit photo of one person with no mask, hat or sunglasses.

If the person already has an application waiting, the portal stops you with "Failed, you still have a pending approval application." Approve or reject that one first.

Manage Passes and Statuses

Both the card and face lists have status tabs: Pending Approval, Active, Rejected, Expired, Lost/Damaged, Suspended and Deleted. Row actions include Edit, Approve, Reject, Suspend, Unsuspend, Lost/Damaged and Delete.

Each pass also shows its sync state on the SuperPASS-DOOR, SuperPASS-Lift and UltraPASS-Face devices. If a device could not be updated you see "Unsuccessful Synchronization - Retrying Automatically in" a number of minutes. The portal retries on its own; press Sync Now to retry straight away.

Read Access Logs

Open Security Monitor from the top navigation. It shows three live panels:

Intrusion Detection Logs for unknown faces and strangers.
Physical Access Logs for door, lift, face and plate events.
Digital Access Logs for QR keys and digital passes.

Press the search icon on Physical Access Logs to open Access Log History, then choose Today, Yesterday, Other Day, This Month, Last Month, Other Month, This Year, Last Year or Custom Time Frame. The Face Recognition Access record page also lists face events with Search.

Status	Meaning
Pending Activation	The pass has not reached its permitted entry time yet.
Expired	The pass is past its allowed end time.
Invalid QR Code	The QR code was not generated by the system.
Wrong Entrance	The pass is valid, but not at this entrance.
No Record	No person or pass matches the credential.

Denylist and Allowlist

The Denylist and Allowlist sit under Visitors > Filters. Press New Denylist or New Allowlist and record the person by Name, Mobile Phone No., WhatsApp No., Email Address, NRIC No., Passport No. or Vehicle Plate No.. Press Remove to take an entry off. The full visitor workflow is in Visitor Flows.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Can a Resident Open the Door But Not Reach Their Floor?

Their access type does not include the lift level. Edit the type under Settings > Physical Access Control and tick the level, or tick Including the floor(s) where the property of the user is located, and make sure the floor is set on the property page.

What Does Unsuccessful Synchronization Mean?

The portal could not update one of the devices, usually because it was offline. It retries automatically; press Sync Now once the device is back online.

Can One Person Have Both a Card and a Face?

Yes. Card and face are separate passes, each with its own access type. Use Integrated Smart Access if your property wants one combined pass.
