FoodServa and POSERVA Overview
VYROX Wiki · Updated 23 September 2026 · https://www.vyrox.com/wiki/poserva-foodserva-overview
FoodServa and POSERVA are the VYROX point of sale (POS) systems for Malaysian businesses. FoodServa is built for food and beverage outlets such as cafes, restaurants, bistros and bars, and adds table ordering, a menu with options and add-ons, and kitchen slips. POSERVA is built for retail counters and shops, and focuses on fast checkout, stock control, purchases and receipts. Both run on the same VYROX platform in a web browser, so they share one set of items, members, payments, receipts and reports.
This page explains what each product does, who it is for, and where to find the step-by-step guide for each task.
Who It Is For
Owners and managers who set up items, prices, tax, service charge, printers and staff access, and who read the shift report and stock reports.
Cashiers and front-counter staff who ring up sales, take payment, run tabs and print receipts.
Service staff and kitchen teams (FoodServa) who take table orders, send them to the kitchen printer and settle the bill.

How to Sign In
Open the web address your VYROX account manager gave you in Chrome, Edge or Safari on a PC, tablet or phone.
Enter your email and password and sign in.
If your business has more than one outlet, choose the Organization and Center you are working in. Sales, stock and cash are always recorded against the selected center.
The main screen is Operations. On a FoodServa outlet the F&B table cards appear here. The round buttons on this screen open the Point of Sale, Running Tabs, Add New Member and Settings.
Before You Start
Before your first sale, a manager should complete the setup below in this order:
Set tax and service charge defaults in Settings > Tax and Settings > Service Charges.
Create item categories and items in Settings > Point of Sale, or menu categories and items in Settings > Menu for FoodServa.
Add at least one printer in Settings > Printers.
Check the invoice and receipt layout in Settings > Document Designer.
Some Settings tabs appear only for users whose role allows them. If you cannot see a tab named in these guides, ask your owner or administrator.
What Is the Difference Between FoodServa and POSERVA?
FoodServa includes everything in POSERVA plus restaurant features: F&B table ordering, a menu with options and add-ons, guest groups and kitchen slips. POSERVA is the retail edition for counter checkout, stock and purchases.
Do I Need to Install Software?
No. Both products run in a web browser. You only install a small printer connector on the counter computer if you print to a local thermal printer.
Can I Run Several Outlets?
Yes. Each outlet is a center under your organization. Items, stock, cash and sales are recorded per center, and you switch centers from the selector at the top of the screen.
Does It Handle SST and Service Charge?
Yes. You set tax and service charge rates at organisation, center, category or item level, and each invoice shows the tax and service charge amounts separately.
