Snooker King · Snooker King: Complete Operator Manual
Bookings in Snooker King let customers reserve a table for a set date and time, either through staff at the counter or through Book Table in the member portal. Each booking has a location, start time, duration and customer, can repeat weekly, fortnightly, monthly or yearly, and moves through the statuses Confirmed, Checked In, Completed, Cancelled and No Show. Checking a customer in starts the game on the booked table. Bookings are used by front-desk staff, managers and members.
| Setting | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Slot Duration | Time grid resolution for the booking calendar (5 to 120 minutes) | 30 minutes |
| Minimum Booking Duration | Shortest booking allowed | 60 minutes |
| Maximum Booking Duration | Longest booking allowed | 240 minutes |
| Minimum Advance Notice | How soon before the start time a booking can still be made | 1 hour |
| Maximum Advance (Days) | How many days ahead customers can book | 30 |

On the Operations page, press the calendar button (Bookings (B)) or the B key. The Bookings window has two views: Listing and Calendar.
For tables sold on a rental plan, choose a Rental Plan (optional). The duration is then set by the plan and payment is taken at check-in.
If the booked customer has not arrived and a walk-in wants the table, open the booking and press Start walk-in game. The booking stays in place.
Open a Confirmed booking from the list to see these buttons:
| Button | Result |
|---|---|
| Edit | Change the booking details, then Save Changes |
| Check In | Customer has arrived; the game starts |
| No-Show | Customer did not come; status becomes No Show |
| Cancel Booking | Booking is cancelled; status becomes Cancelled |
Each status change asks you to confirm first.
Snooker King marks a booking No Show automatically when it is still Confirmed after its end time has passed. There is no grace period setting: the change happens once the booked end time is over, and the check runs every few minutes while the Operations page or Bookings window is open. Check customers in before the booking ends so their booking is not marked No Show.
Filter by date (Today, Yesterday, This Week, Next Week and other ranges through Last Year, or Custom Range), by All Locations or one table, and by status. Columns are No., Booked, Booking ID, For, Mobile No., Location, Start, End, Duration, Proforma, By and Status. Sort by Booked or Start by clicking the column header.
