The GuluStock Scorecard Page

VYROX Wiki · Updated 23 September 2026 · https://www.vyrox.com/wiki/gulustock-scorecard-page

The Scorecard page in GuluStock grades the calls each past scan made on Bursa Malaysia stocks, measuring what actually happened afterwards against the whole market over the same window. It is used by clients who want to judge how well GuluStock's analysis has performed rather than take it on trust.

Important

This page is not shown to new client accounts. A GuluStock administrator enables it per account. If you do not see it in the left sidebar, ask the administrator to grant it.

Warning

GuluStock is for education and information only. Nothing on this page is financial, investment or trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Backtests and paper trades are simulations, and past or simulated results do not guarantee future results.

Open the Scorecard

  1. Select Scorecard in the left sidebar.
  2. Choose a session from the day list at the top. Each scan in that session is graded and shown separately.
  3. Open Grading Notes to read how the grading works and why some horizons are blank.

The scorecard is produced between about 18:25 and 19:30 MYT, once the closing bars have landed. Before then you see "No scored sessions yet."

Headline Figures

FigureWhat It Means
Calls GradedHow many calls from the scan were measured
Avg ReturnAverage price change of the calls
Avg AlphaAverage return minus the whole market's equal-weight return over the identical window. PROV marks a provisional figure
Beat MarketHow many calls beat the market, out of the total
Rank ICWhether higher-scored calls did better than lower-scored ones. Above zero is good
Up / Flat / DownHow many calls rose, stayed flat or fell

The Maturation Ladder

The ladder grades actionable calls (Buy and Watch) at several horizons: T+1 Session, T+5 Sessions, T+10 Sessions and T+20 Sessions, with T+40, T+60 and T+90 added when enough history exists. A horizon shows nothing until enough sessions have passed. Each horizon row shows Sessions, Calls, Avg Alpha, Beat Mkt, Rank IC and Status.

Tip

Same-day figures are a mark, not accuracy. One session tests only a sliver of a swing setup, so judge the analysis on the longer horizons.

The Call Table

Each row shows Analysed (when the scan ran, MYT), Stock, Call, Score, Ref (reference price), Close, Return, Alpha, Entry, Stop, Target and Entry Hit: the session on which price first traded through the entry, within 20 sessions. Entry Hit reads PENDING until that 20-session window has passed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Are Scans Never Averaged Together?

Each scan asks a different question over a different window against a different benchmark, so pooling them would produce a number that describes neither.

What Does Alpha Mean Here?

A call's return minus the equal-weight return of the whole universe over the same window. It measures stock selection, not market direction.

Does a Good Scorecard Mean I Should Follow the Calls?

No. The scorecard measures past research output. It is not advice and does not predict future results.
