FoodServa Table Ordering
VYROX Wiki · Updated 23 September 2026 · https://www.vyrox.com/wiki/foodserva-table-ordering
F&B Ordering in FoodServa lets service staff take orders table by table, send each order to the right kitchen or bar printer, and settle the bill when guests leave. Each table can hold several guest groups, each with its own orders and its own bill. It is used by waiters, captains and cashiers in cafes, restaurants and bars.
Kitchen printers must be added and assigned to menu categories so that orders print.
Sign in and select the correct Center. The F&B table cards appear on the Operations screen. On a phone, use the F&B Ordering tile.
Understand the Table Cards
Each F&B table appears as a card on the Operations screen. Cards show whether the table is free or in use, and a paid group shows PAID. Small icons on a card open Bookings, History, the table QR Code and View Proforma.
Take an Order
On the Operations screen, tap the table card. The F&B Order window opens with the Menu on one side and ORDERS on the other.
Choose a category under Select a category, then tap a dish.
In the item window, pick from Options, tick any Preferences and Add-ons, set the Quantity and type any special instructions in Notes.
Press Add to Cart. Repeat for each dish.
Check the cart. Use Clear Cart to empty it and start again.
Press Place Order. The order is saved to the table and the kitchen slips print to the printer set for each category.
Each order the group places is numbered, so the kitchen and the bill can tell the first round from the second.
Add a Guest Group to a Table
When two separate parties share a table, or one party wants separate bills, give each its own group.
Tap the group badge on the table card.
Press Add Group followed by the next number, for example Add Group 2.
A new group card (G2) appears for the same table. Orders and payment for each group are kept separate.
A group with no orders yet can be removed with Remove this group (no orders yet).
Cancel or Reprint an Item
In the ORDERS list of the F&B Order window:
Press the cancel icon on a line (Cancel this item) to cancel it. A cancellation slip prints to the kitchen so the cook knows to stop.
Press the reprint icon (Reprint this item to kitchen) if a slip was lost or the printer jammed.
Press Reprint cancellation slip to kitchen to print a cancellation slip again.
Use Undo straight after a mistake to reverse it.
Let Guests Order by QR Code
Each F&B table has its own QR code. Tap the QR Code icon on the table card to show the table's Food Ordering App QR Code card, which reads Scan QR Code to Order, then press Print and place it on the table. If your outlet uses expiring QR codes, the card also shows when the code expires.
Guests do not need an account or a password to order. When a guest scans the code, the ordering page opens on their phone for that table:
The guest browses the Menu, taps a dish, picks any options and presses Add to Cart.
In the Cart they can press Edit or Remove on a line, and enter a coupon code and press Apply.
They press Place Order, check the summary and press Confirm Order. The order goes to the kitchen printers and appears under that table on your Operations screen.
Order More takes them back to the menu for the next round. The Orders view lists every round placed and lets them press Generate Proforma to see the running bill.
Settle the Bill and End the Session
Open the table and check the bill in the Breakdown section. It shows Sum of Subtotals, Sum of Discounts, Service Charge, Tax and GRAND TOTAL.
Press View Proforma if the guest wants to see the bill before paying.
When all groups have paid and the guests have left, press End Session to release the table for the next guests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Did an Order Not Print in the Kitchen?
Check that the dish's menu category has a Kitchen Printer and that the printer is online. Then open the Print Queue to see whether the job is waiting, and use Reprint this item to kitchen.
Can Two Groups at One Table Pay Separately?
Yes. Add a second group with Add Group 2. Each group has its own orders and pays its own bill.
What Does End Session Do?
End Session closes the table's session and releases the table so it shows as free for the next guests.
Do Guests Need to Sign In to Order by QR Code?
No. Anyone who scans the table's QR code can order. Registering as a member with an email code is optional and only needed for member benefits.
Can I Show the Bill Before the Guest Pays?
Yes. Press View Proforma to display or print a proforma bill without taking payment.
