Snooker King · Snooker King: Complete Operator Manual
Staff management in Snooker King controls who can sign in to your centre and exactly what each person may do. Every employee has a role (Manager, Operator or Sales Agent), one or more centres, and a set of permission ticks covering members, invoices, lighting, stock, settings and revenue. Employees also clock in and out, so you can see the hours each person worked. It is used by owners and managers when hiring staff and reviewing access.
Give the username and password to the employee in person. The employee list shows Created, Name, Username, Role, Center and Status, with View, Edit and Delete actions.
| Role | Typical Use |
|---|---|
| Manager | Runs the centre; can be given access to individual settings and dashboard areas |
| Operator | Runs tables, the POS and payments on the floor |
| Sales Agent | Sells on commission; see Sales Agents and Commission |
| Group | Tick | Allows |
|---|---|---|
| Member Permissions | Create member | Registering new members |
| Invoice Permissions | Edit invoice details | Correcting names, lines and amounts |
| Invoice Permissions | Edit payment method | Changing how a bill was paid |
| Invoice Permissions | Correct payment split on old bills | Restating the payment split on older bills. Off by default and never granted by the Manager role; grant it one person at a time |
| Invoice Permissions | Delete invoices & slips | Deleting bills, and restoring them from Deleted Bills on the Revenues page |
| Invoice Permissions | Edit paid invoices (regenerates receipt) | Changing a bill after payment |
| Lighting Permissions | Turn table lighting on (turning off is always allowed) | Switching table lights on manually |
| Stock Permissions | Manage POS stock (view, add and adjust inventory) | Stock counts and adjustments |
Managers get one tick for each area they may open.
Managers and owners review hours in the same window:
Managers and owners can always clock staff in and out. To let an operator do this for others, tick Allow this operator to clock other staff in and out under Attendance Management on the employee.
Owners open these from the clock button on the Employees Management page.
