The Diary and Calendar in LawServa show every dated item your firm holds: hearings, mentions, case management dates, filing deadlines, limitation dates, completions and bring-up reminders. The Diary is the home screen that tells you what needs attention today, and the Calendar lays the same dates out by month, week, day or agenda. Fee earners, clerks and partners use them every morning.
You need permission to view deadlines to see the Diary and Calendar. Changing which courts and state holidays the firm works to needs the Calendar Settings permission, usually held by the firm manager.
Choose Diary under Today in the rail. The Diary lists:
Use Open Calendar to switch to the calendar view, All Matters to go to the matter list, or Risk Radar to see the firm's risk findings.
The Calendar also shows public holidays for the state your firm works in, together with federal holidays. Holidays that depend on the lunar calendar are marked as estimated until confirmed.
Dates are added on the matter itself, so they always belong to a file.

Calendar Settings is a tab of Calendar. Here the firm manager sets which state's holidays the firm counts working days against and which courts the firm appears in. These settings change how working days are counted for computed dates, so change them with care.
Deadline Rules is the third tab of Calendar. It shows the rule book behind every date LawServa computes: the citation, the period and the date the rule took effect. When a rule has not been verified, LawServa declines to compute a date rather than guessing, and says so. Partners use this screen to see why the system says a date falls on a particular day.
Some Malaysian holidays follow the lunar calendar and are only confirmed close to the date. LawServa marks them as estimated until then.
Diary dates in LawServa belong to a matter, so open the file first and add the date there.
If the rule behind that step has not been verified, LawServa declines to compute it. Enter the date yourself after checking the rule.
Yes. Upcoming and overdue dates appear under Needs Your Attention on the Diary, and firms can also set up reminders through Automations.
